PRODUCT RETURN POLICY

You may return an item within 15 days from ship date, for a refund. To qualify for refund or replacement, items must be returned in their original packaging. For replacement items must be returned within 365 days (1 year) of the original purchase date. Note: a 20% restock fee may apply.

Please submit your request using our automated RMA System.

We will not accept returned merchandise without a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. Returns received without authorization will not be processed for refund or exchange.

1. Create a Request for RMA by logging in to our RMA website. If you do not have an account yet, please click SIGNUP and provide accurate information such as name, shipping address and a valid email address.

2. Please provide a detailed description of the reason for returning the product. Note a $99 service fee and/or 20% restock fee may apply.

3. We will review your request within 2 business days, do not send your item until you have received an RMA Number. You will receive a notification email when your RMA Request is approved. At any time you can log in to our system to check the status of your request.

4. Upon receiving an RMA Number, login to our website to print your RMA form and packaging slip. Ship your item.

5. You can monitor the status of your return (24x7) by logging into our website.

An item must be returned in the original manufacturer packaging, so we recommend you keep your packaging for at least the first 90 days after purchase.

WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

PTI Security Systems ("Seller") warrants to the first purchaser of this product, for the structure in which this product is originally installed, that it is free from defect in materials and/or workmanship (measured from the date of shipment) for a period of:

AccessMaster Branded and Manufactured Products - 1 Year
PTI Branded and Manufactured Products - 1 Year
Digitech Branded and Manufactured Products - 1 Year
All Other (Non-Branded) Non-Manufactured Products - 1 Year

The proper operation of this product is dependent on compliance with the instructions regarding installation, operation, maintenance and testing. Failure to comply strictly with those instructions will void this warranty in its entirety.

Before any product can be returned, Buyer must contact PTI Security Systems Customer Service & Support for assistance with troubleshooting and verification that the product is indeed not operating or functioning properly. During the limited warranty period if this product appears to contain a defect covered by this limited warranty, contact support at support.ptisecurity.com before dismantling this product. If it is deemed that the product may require repair or replacement after troubleshooting procedures have been executed, a Customer Service & Support Representative shall provide Buyer with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Then send this product, pre-paid and insured, to our service center for warranty repair or replacement. You will be advised of shipping instructions when you call. Buyer will need to include return shipping and contact information, and a brief description of the problem experienced with the product.

Product returned without an RMA number will be subject to standard non-warranty charges for repair and return shipping. All returns are inspected for evidence of improper installation, misuse, abuse, water damage, and unauthorized modifications or repair, and additional charges or return fees may apply. A fee will be assessed for each product returned with a valid RMA where no trouble is found with the product.

RMA numbers are only valid for a period of thirty (30) days. If Buyer is returning a product after the RMA period has expired, contact Customer Service & Support for a new RMA number.

This limited warranty is in lieu of any other warranties, expressed or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose or otherwise, and of any other obligations or liability on seller's part. this limited warranty does not cover non-defect damage, damage caused by improper installation, operation or care (including, but not limited to abuse, misuse, failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance, unauthorized repairs or any alterations to this product), labor charges for reinstalling a repaired or replaced unit, problems related to interference, or replacement of batteries.

Under no circumstances shall seller be liable for consequential, incidental or special damages arising in connection with use, or inability to use, this product. in no event shall seller's liability for breach of contract, negligence or strict liability exceed the cost of the product covered hereby. no person is authorized to assume for us any other liability in connection with the sale of this product.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of consequential, incidental or special damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
